That would be Mr. Robert Fisk who had the crap beaten out of him while in Afghanistan, but later said he understood why the Afghani's had beaten him so soundly.

Yes I read about that. They were refugees, were they not, who had been bombed out of their home areas by westerners, and felt unkindly disposed towards other westerners. I wonder why they felt that way?

Still, Fisky did not see the humour in the situation, having very nearly lost his life. Perhaps you could explain it to him....on a different thread, obviously. Sorry to intrude.
