timber- You are indeedquite correct. If you will note the comment made by Greenstein which I quoted in my post at 2:13, there is revision made when pertinent documents come to light.

A perfect example of this, which I am sure you are familiar with, Timber, is the findings released on Alger Hiss by the Russians( no longer the Soviets) which show that Hiss was, indeed, in the pay of the Soviets.

Perhaps, ( and I would be willing to bet a great deal of money against it) Timber, Clinton will rise from 21st place in the rankings to the top ten when more evidence comes to light, but given that the Presidential Historians mainly downgraded Clinton on a factual basis-eg. He took a plea-bargain from the Special Prosecutor- that is highly unlikely.

I've posted this news, just now, in as a new "General" thread. It just came to me from Mamajuana's daughter. I know many of you will be as shocked and horrified as I was.

Our friend, Mamajuana, died last Monday afternoon. She had been in iffy health for years but game and very much a participant in our lives and in those of her family. About two weeks ago she contracted a bacterial flu-like thing which her doctor believed was a result of air pollution in northern NJ. Her heart gave up the fight. Her last email to me (if the times given are to be trusted) was written within half an hour of her death. So she was still with us all in mind and spirit until the end.

This is a hard post to click the "submit" button for.

Yep, Dean trumps them all, then it was will he or won't he(Clark) who trumped Edwards announcement, now it's will she or won't she? The Dems are nowhere near sold on the idea they have a winner, appears they don't know whether to scratch their watch, or wind their ass.

Of course, Au 1929, I quite understand. Personal considerations may cause you to differ with the experts on the subject.

I also have an Opinion about Bill Clinton. I lived through his presidency. I think that he was one of he worst presidents that ever lived and agree with George F. Will who said, " William Clinton is not the worst President we have ever had but he is the worst person ever to have been president."

I will leave you with your opinion and am I sure that you will leave me with mine.

In the meantime, I am compelled to point out, Au1929, that the experts- the presidential historians, do not agree with you.

I am indeed sorry to hear of Mamajuana's unfortunate demise. Had she been ill for a while?

Was she obese? Did she have breathing problems?

I know the air in New Jersey is not very good.

Did she live in Newark?

May Mamajuana rest in peace.

Her passing will leave a void in the a2k family. She may be gone but will certainly not be forgotten. May she rest in peace.

I hope those of you who enjoyed her will jump over to the "awful news" thread in "General" and leave a note. I'll cut and paste them into an email for her daughter, who notified me.

HILL SPINS WEB OF '04 RIDDLES

By DEBORAH ORIN
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

September 19, 2003 -- Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton yesterday gave her staff a green light to keep promoting speculation that she'll run for president, saying that's "freedom of speech."
Clinton's remarks came after her staff posted a new batch of e-mails promoting a Hillary-for-president campaign on her official Web site, and Bill Clinton touted his wife and new 2004 entry Wesley Clark as the Democratic Party's top stars.

Asked why she lets her staff keep posting run-for-president e-mails on her official Web site, Clinton replied, "Freedom of speech, I guess."
