PLEASE HELP!!!
My sister has this case of severe headache from the past 8 years. She has visited several doctors in Delhi, India, including one of the best Neurosurgeons, who treated her for low serotonin levels, which he apparently thought, was her problem. No proper diagnosis was conducted. She got some relief for an year or so, but her condition started to worsen again. Apparently, the doctor had been giving her steroids which gave her instant relief but even they failed after sometime. Another Neurologist has been now treating her for chronic headache.
She has undergone many diagnostic tests, such as CT Scan, MRI, X-ray of the spinal chord etc. But no cause of her headache could be found. She had to drop her school as well. She has now developed suicidal tendencies due to her condition. Her list of problems include :
1. Severe headache,all day long.
2. Dizziness.
3. Weak Muscles.
4. Symptoms of Depression.
5. Nausea.
6. Disturbed Sleep.
7. Blackouts.

@namitasengar,
How is her nutrition?

Has anyone done any allergy studies to see if she might be allergic to any of the foods she is eating?

Does her environment have an abundance of air/water pollution? Could she be overexposed to any industrial chemicals?

@namitasengar,
Medicine is not as easy as just giving a list of symtoms and expecting a diagnosis. It requires analysis of ever y individual case. You will not find an answer on the web. And you may even end more worried since there are thousands of trolls that post bullsh*t on blogs and articles that claim exagerated disgnosis. I commonly recive patients that swear they have cancer because they read it on the internet.

A common mistake regading headache evaluation is considering that the disease will be on the head. This is completely unaccurate. That headache could come from anywhere else. ungs, kidney, liver, etc. Unfortunatedly many people run directly to the neurosurgeon or the neurologist just to end up frustrated. Most subspecialist only concentrate on their area of study and are completely blind to diseases of other organs and systems.

I recommend you seek a seond evaluatio nbut with an integrative type of specialist that can make an evaluation of your siste as a whole. An internal medicine specialist, or an intergative medicina specialist, or a geriatrist (if she is an elder).

Do not waste your time on the net.
