I am a man in his mid 30's trying to lose a stone and a half and have been told to cut out the junk food which I have. The trouble is now I am really clueless what to actually eat! I am told to eat a lot of fruit and vegetables which I am doing but thing is they do not seem to ever fill you up. I could eat like a whole plate of carrots and sweetcorn and mushrooms etc but by the time you have finished it you don't really have any feeling like you have just ate.
I don't think I will be able to carry on with just vegetables so what is the next best thing in terms of food to eat? I was told chicken is good but is it? is Heinz soup also ok? I am just after some foods that would perhaps be a less on calories yet filling somehow. Not easy I know but please throw some low calorie but somewhat filling food idea at me if there is any. thx.

Join (it's free). They will show you what to eat, and how your examples are not really going to help you. 2 hints: 1) you need protein (chicken is fine, but you could use some variety) and 2) canned and packaged soups are loaded with sodium.
