@JPB,
You would have had 8 wins had Baltimore won. But alas, the Ravens lost to Cincinnati. And as they slowly headed back to Baltimore, the only sound in the room was the soft lament, "Nevermore." (My apologies to Poe.)
Thanks, CoastalRat and George, for taking over the posting of the schedule and score keeping duties. It was becoming too much of a chore for me with my limited computer skills.
I do have one suggestion, It is inevitable that some players(s) will fail to make a pick in a game. Sometimes a player will miss a week (family issues, weather, computer problems, forgetfulness, etc). I never have required an explanation but I did reserve the right to exclude them from the standings if their absences became excessive.
I based the standings on winning percentage of total games picked rather than number of wins so that someone who missed choosing in a week was still in the running. The last thing we want is for people to drop out.
So in week 1 the two late joiners got x wins out of 15 games.
Does that make any sense?
@realjohnboy,
I had forgotten about that aspect RJB. I will adjust my spreadsheet accordingly. Standings going forward will be based on winning percentage.
Could someone post the schedule for week #2?
