It was pointed out for me that Coin Toss failed to get his picks in for week #1. After much consultation and a meeting for all PickUm game players held at Sapphires Bar in Goose Creek, SC (a meeting that was only attended by myself for some unknown reason) by a vote of 1-0 it was decided to allow Coin Toss to make his picks retroactively. As such, Coin Toss finished week 1 with a 7-9 record. If anyone wishes to handle coin toss duties for a week, please let me know. Otherwise, either my wife or my son will be flipping the coin.

Houston lost all of the games, last year. The year before that they lost the final three. It's surprising that some people expect them to win a few this year. But, I expect them to do pretty well. Not predicting playoffs, but at least a better time of it.

@Ragman,

CoastalRat: I see my role here as being the commentator--in-chief. I would do the play-by-play of how well or badly our picks are working out.
I was happy to give up last year the actual task of recording the choices and the outcomes. Some of you have access to spreadsheets. I don't and I would just as soon turn that over again to others.
A second responsibility for me would be keeper-of-the rule-book. For example, we have a rule that the deadline for picks in ALL of the games are due before the kick-off of the FIRST game (which this week is Thursday around 8 pm ET). I can, and do in Week 1, waive that. I declare that a player can pick the winner of tomorrow night's game and come back before Sunday's games with choices for the remaining 15 games.
To me the secret to our game's success is the simplicity of it combined with the opportunity for A2k'ers to talk with others.
