CoastalRat: I see my role here as being the commentator--in-chief. I would do the play-by-play of how well or badly our picks are working out.
I was happy to give up last year the actual task of recording the choices and the outcomes. Some of you have access to spreadsheets. I don't and I would just as soon turn that over again to others.
A second responsibility for me would be keeper-of-the rule-book. For example, we have a rule that the deadline for picks in ALL of the games are due before the kick-off of the FIRST game (which this week is Thursday around 8 pm ET). I can, and do in Week 1, waive that. I declare that a player can pick the winner of tomorrow night's game and come back before Sunday's games with choices for the remaining 15 games.
To me the secret to our game's success is the simplicity of it combined with the opportunity for A2k'ers to talk with others.
@Lightning22,
I do - Carr is one of my fantasy quarterbacks.
@realjohnboy,
Well, if you wish, I will tackle recording everything for you. I don't mind doing so.

First game of the year... no trends to follow, no past performances to look at, no nothing. Just a gut check.
Greetings to all. Glad to see you all return and to be back for more football foolish fun.
RJB: wishing you a much better month than the last one. I had, health-wise, a not-so-rosy August. This (birthday)-month hopefully to be a better one.

@George,
Reading up on different websites' takes on Power Rankings, I found those folks disagreeing with more variation than usual. Not completely, of course. So many (more) variables this time.
