I would suggest that you learn semaphore. The only snag with that is that she will have to learn semaphore as well, otherwise she will just think that you are flapping around like a loony.
Try slipping her the "Semaphore for Dummies" book and see if she starts flapping a response in the coming weeks, as that would be a good sign that she likes you.
