Hi,

I would like to have this correctly translated into Latin:

the expressed controls the unmentioned; an unequivocal statement prevails over an implication

I was given "expressum faeit oessare taoitum", but I was unable to verify if this is correct.

Thanks! :-)

@Artiste,
Expressum facit cessare tacitum is a legal maxim that means
“what is expressed makes what is implied silent.”

@George,
Thank you!! :-) I kinda figured someone had messed up along the way in the spelling, et al.

@Artiste,
I have another phrase that I'd like translated. This one from English to Latin:

"Stand sure for all life"

Meaning one is standing firm and upholding/honoring all life. A friend came up with "omnis anima stare", but since her Latin is very rusty, she wasn't sure if this was correct.

Thanks!

Darcy

@Artiste,
I would say:

Persta pro omne vita
