I am a 28 year old female. I have constant pain on my right, just under my rib cage, sometimes unbearable. I get nauseas, feel like I am starving hungry and as soon as I eat a few bites I feel stuffed. Voltaren injection doesn't even take it away. They have removed my gallbladder(no gallstones)and my appendix(no infection) trying to take away the pain.
I have had a colonoscopy,gastroscopy, laporoscopy, numerous CT scans, and an MRI, I have seen gp's to gynaecologist, to neurologist, to gastologist and everytime they just pass me on to the next person because the don't know. Ive been told I have pancreatitis, Gallbladder infection, IBS and everything else that they can think of, and everytime they look further, it turns out it is not. Its been years, and I cant handle it anymore, it is interfering with my life!! I went for more sonars, and blood test this week, still nothing. Now they want to do another CT scan, but I think they are just grabbing for straws. Is there anyone out there who has a clue, I am at my wits end. they found a 8.22mm haemangioma on my liver, but Dr says it cant be this. (I also keep picking up weight at a rapid amount but don't know if this has anything to do with it, 16kg in 3months no change in diet) I am at my wits end, please can someone help me.
@Jolene Pretorius,
Yes, if it were me..I'd find a different doctor.
@Jolene Pretorius,
Yes there are some diseases that can cause this type of pain and test negative in most lab exams. Altough they are rare they must be ruled out. A second opinion by an integratipe type specialist would be the best option.
Many subspecialists are so inmerse on they area that fail to chain symptoms of multiple systems. Thats what internal medicine and geriatrics (if the case fits) stand for.
