Jason Polanco has been charged with five counts of attempted homicide after opening fire on five plainclothes NYPD officers on Monday night. Two policemen, Aliro Pellerano and Andrew Dossi were wounded in the attack. Dossi remains hospitalized, but Pellerano was released today.
Polanco’s Instagram account contains several other anti-police posts. He appears to have become increasingly more agressive after his September 25th run in with NYPD, posting “**** the Police” to his account the next day and again referring to officers as the “new nazis.”
