1. While I had stayed there, it felt hardly similar to that of when I live in my home.

2. The atmosphere there is very much the same as that of here's.

3. The way you write is hardly anything like that of his.

4. I think you always do things in much the same way as that of a friend of mine.

5. You now behave in very much the same way I used to do long ago.

6. I think living in this room feels something like that of somewhere else I once was in.

Are they ok? Any editing to anywhere sound inapt is welcomed.

"While" can be interpreted to mean either "although" or "during the time". "That of" dangles somewhat. "Hardly" could mean either "slightly", "not at all" or "uncomfortably". So

During my stay I felt much at home

Or "…stay there…" collo--though might prove slightly redundant depending on context

Awkwardness and over-complexity characterize the ESL though Im you're to be congratulated for your perspicacity and determination; but this sort of thing being very time-consuming, hope others might contribute

@dalehileman,
Im I apologize for getting too technical too early. Less acrobatics one might write

While I stayed there, my feelings were hardly similar to those of life at home, but instead…..

While I stayed, my misgivings felt hardly similar to the peace of living at home

While I had stayed there often, my feelings at the time could hardly be called similar to life at home, which….

While I stayed there my feelings nonetheless proved similar to those at home

Staying there felt not the least similar to living at home

Staying there felt somewhat similar to living at home but hardly an exact comparison when we consider….

While I stayed there I felt entirely different from a similar period spent at home

While I had stayed there, my recollection proved hardly similar to those experienced when I'm living at home

@imsak,
2. The atmosphere there is very much the same as that here

..or in collo you can drop "that"

3. The way you write is hardly anything like his

...that is, his way to write

Your writing is hardly anything like his

4. I think you always do things in much the same way as a friend of mine

…or "another friend" since the implication is that he ain't. Incidentally the "I think" is unnecessary and redundant

…but there I go getting technical again. Good golly Im, but yardwork does call….

5. You now behave in very much the same way I used to, long ago

6. Living in this room today feels something like somewhere else I once was

"……once stayed, visited, lived". I would've said "somewhat" tho don't know why

But Im it's only me. Others will disagree with utmost justice
