I miss Cav, and now Joanne too. The pleasure of connection always runs the risk of the pain of separation, doesn't it?

Yes, I miss them both. However, I keep running into Cav's posts when the old threads come up again, and - while I wish he would stop all this and post back - I am getting used to it, and I like it that the old threads show up again. This will probably happen in time when I see Joanne's posts too.

She was so sweet but clearly disturbed. But being "disturbed" is not a fault; it in no way diminished her value as a virtuous (kind and loving) person. I've just done a painting of my impression of her suffering. It feels strange to title a painting "Joanne", given that it is not a portrait.
Remember that she went to the trouble to post some of my works on A2K because I didn't know how.
