Two reasons stand out. The first is that it simply isn't true that Israel is the reason terrorists attack us.

The second reason is, even if it were actually true, we are hardly inclined to abandon a friend just because the bad guys choose to attack. The right course of action is to eradicate the bad guys.

He didn't hate us, and certainly not for supporting Israel. He just wanted to intimidate us into not opposing his attempt to conquer the world.

Why is the UK our friend?

I don't know why I like a given country. I just know which countries I like and am happy to support.

Those countries include Israel, Japan, the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand (not in any particular order).

I don't think Israel is anybody's friend, in fact most westerners don't even like them.. Wink

There are not the sorts of larger regional wars that would be more likely if we did not give Israel that aid.

Just who is doing this questioning? (Presumably the same unbiased party who questioned the US navy soldiers should also question the Russian rebels.)

I didn't specify who is doing the questioning, nor do I now. I merely said that there should be a price to pay (although I'll agree that the price should begin with investigation). Since you took exception to my statement, I take it you think that there shouldn't.
