well my IQ at last test was 158, My IQ at age 13 (end of grade 8 was 141. I didn't go to college. This leads me to believe it is dependent on the person and not their formal education. As I said before don't base who you are on your IQ.

safecracker,

Quite the opposite. If your IQ was 141 at age 13 and is now 158, it tells us a couple things:

1. If "IQ" existed, it wouldn't go fluttering about.
The fact that you didn't go to college or did go to
college should have no influence on your "IQ". Your
"IQ" should remain a constant. Otherwise you are
takding a test over what you have learned. An "IQ"
test is suppose to measure "intellgence" not scholastic
gain.

2. If "IQ" was real (concrete), it would not change.
It would be like the color of your eyes, height,
etc.

3. Dicitonary: abstract: thought of apart from any
particular instances of matereial objects; not
concrete; as " beauty" is an abstract word.

" Beauty" is a good analogy to "IQ" It is said that "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." Perhaps intelligence is too.
A study was done some years ago in which teachers were given false information about their students. "A" students were given low "IQ's in their folders. "C" and "D' stduents were given high IQs. The "A" students went down in their grades and the 'C' "D' student went up in their grades.

Before somebody says "sour grapes", my alleged IQ is quite
high.

That was my point in this whole thread Billy IQ tests are BS, I understand it should be a constant but it never is. quite the oppisite on what? are you telling me the test score is not going to be dependent on the person either way? BS or not?

What is more signifcant for a individual is the kindness of their heart, and not the implied IQ. c.i.

I think IQ. is not a test of knowledge but a test to check the ability to reason and solve. A lot of factors may influence the IQ score. THings like: having a medication, alcohol, sleep patterns, dietary factors such as too much sugar, emotions in personal life, social conditions, and a host of other enviornmental things

Just keep doing tests. Do puzzles riddles and more than anything practice your math.

you don't boost your IQ it is a test designed to measure what your ability is of learning as a whole and it's full of it. boosting your intelligence is a whole different story.

Boosting your IQ is both possible and easy. Of course a good test requires that you do not take measures to boost it but my point is that it's possible.

There is no such thing as 'actual IQ' that is not a 'test IQ'.
