I 'm shocked.
The rest of us assumed it was much higher than that.

i'm never sure why people bother to find out

you're either able to function in society or not, and i've known a few folks with extraordinary IQ's who couldn't hold up their end of a conversation in polite (or rude) society

well According to his work, Stephen Hawking has a very, very high IQ, there is a person who's iq is higher than Maryn, his name is William James Sidis, His IQ varies from 250-300 which is higher than Maryn

Wow, it has been 5 years since I last posted on this forum. Even more surprising is the fact that this one topic has been going for so long. Marilyn vos Savant does indeed have a VERY high I.Q. Furthermore, it has been stated that Mr. Sidis has the highest calculated I.Q., some references claiming that he was off the scales. However, it is at this point I would like to highlight that many highly intelligent people do not even believe in sitting an I.Q. test.

The link of IQ test and genius postulated by Sir Francis Galton was an abysmal failure. In the entire project not one genius was found. Though many crooks were found to have high IQ and many probably in Wall Street.
