Yes. It's cheating. This is my test: Do you tell your spouse about your activity? No? Then it's cheating.
It is purely emotional cheating. If you are truly interested in your marriage then why should you look to the things that will distract you.
Most times you find out you are either securing your phone or laptop so your spouse wouldn't see your chat, or you are deleting the whole thing after chatting.
Tell me what you'll call it .if not cheating?
