Hello,

I have found this sentence: " One of the first things to learn in any language is how to greet and part with people you meet."

I would like to know if it is correct and if one must say:

"to greet people" Or "to greet with people"

"to part people" Or "to part with people"

Thank you.

@milimi,
Quote:
"to greet people" Or "to greet with people"
The former, Mili

Quote:
"to part people" Or "to part with people"
The latter. the former can be interpreted meaning to separate them from one another
