Is this sentence incorrect?
"...the pelts that Attila Ambrus smuggled are bear, ram, boar, and deer."

That's quite acceptable. Alternatively, but not necessarily a better choice, could be:

"... the pelts that Attila Ambrus smuggled are from bear, ram, boar, and deer."
