I'd like to meet in San Diego too. Don't think I can do it. My cousins live near there so I could probably stay with them - but the air fare is problematic right now.

I should have added - I completely get your take on getting out of San Diego and seeing the places you really want to see. I'd also be so happy to meet up with you in San Francisco or Seattle; have SF area pals I'm almost positive I could stay with. Love SF, and have liked Seattle a lot when I visited. Who knows, maybe my ship will come in, in some timely manner, unlikely so soon though.

Are you still in touch with Piffka (I miss her!)? And I think JeannefromSeattle is probably still in the Seattle area too (not sure).

We both have some troubles going on. I'll talk with Diane, who doesn't read here much anymore - she might be able to do it. Don't plan your trip on us - if either of us can do it, flight costs aren't precisely equal but could probably be finessed (dunno), cheap plane flights happen.

For me it's the timing, lack of save up time after some very bad gurgle going on recently.

Seattle - Peace and Love was there when I visited (we hit a museum together, to see the glass guy (she loved it, I didn't, did like her.). Hawkeye is nearby (chuckles). Neologist lives somewhere close. Hey, maybe Bernie... isn't he in Vancouver now?

I would say come to Kentucky, but you probably wont have time.
