I think we have to remember that these kids, the ones in the pictures, are also commanded by kids. Things like this happen on all sides of the matter in all wars. This is not a movie it is a real war.

A good friend of mine during the Vietnam era refused a direct order to fly and illegal bombing mission, B-52s. He was Court Martialed and convicted but the ACLU got him off on appeal. The problem is that he never really got over the destruction he caused, he flew C-130s dropping Agent Orange before the B-52 assignment.

He commited sucide 10 years ago.
