States dropping out of Common Core

The governor of Oklahoma is such a hypocrite. She was part of the group that encouraged common core.

The "Thanks, Obama" crowd needs to read some history. The national standards movement started in the 1990s and failed when they first started trying to write a history standard because nobody could agree on what should be taught.

Why anyone thought it would be different this time around is beyond me.

She's apparently had second thoughts about it...

I doubt she cared about the liberal backlash but I'm sure the conservative backlash hurt her.

If CC had found support she would have hailed herself as a hero -- someone who was looking out for children.
