I need to go look at cute dog photos or something. My presumed favorite team, Italia, and my selected fifth striker, Balotelli, phased out into the void, while my third striker disobeyed my cautionary warning and bit Chiellini, or so it looks.

Now I'll have to choose between Costa Rica and Mexico on my like list.. Mexico, natch.

I missed following the Mexico Croatia match yesterday - off to read about it now.

Yes, the Europeans are going home by the bucketload, apart from Holland (who I fancy to go all the way) and the Germans who are really playing well, but can also fall back on diving if things start to go wrong.

Uruguay shouldn't have gone through, imo. The guy who scored for them today shouldn't technically have been playing, if there were any justice, as he should have been sent off against England. Swimgs and roundabouts though, I suppose.

Rereading, it was Pancho who was the commentator re Australia not seeming to know how good they were.

I'm trying to remember his full user name, to look back and reread - he is a good writer about tough stuff (and less tough). Might have been something like 'my user name'.

Luis Suarez .. is that Uruguayan player. He should've been eliminated from competition way before. Like his history of racist comments weren't enough. There is more than one biting incident he has had. Can you say 'Anger management' classes?

I looked up 'my user name', and got to a mass of questions about usernames.. as expected, even without spacing between the words.
Then I tried pm'g him, and that worked, that was his name. MyUserName.
All I said was 'test', so of course if he happens to see that, it would be confusing.
Good, now there's a way for me to go back and look at his posts that we remember.
