You will need more than one beer Steve. I was forced to listen to him, a whole program one afternoon, the boss loved him. I left that job ASAP as I just could not take it. As I said before there is not there, there. Its just bombastic nonsense.

Given that Mporter claims not to know what the Hindenberg was, Boss, and yet uses the past tense--i think he's being more than a little disingenuous. If he truly does not know what the Hindenberg was, then how does he know it no longer exists?

The right always tips their hand in that manner . . .

I think MPorter was referring to your misspelling of Hindenberg (Hidenberg) in your original post. Surely someone who once pounced on me for a typo can be expected to use proper spelling at all times, right? MPorter was just trying to get you to live up to your own standards.

I see said the blind man as he picked up his hammer and saw. I knew you knew but just had to engage in the plearsure of comparing Rush to that famous blimp on my own it is such a perfect analogy.

OK - Hindenberg...... pounced...

mporter - do you really want to know what the Hindenberg was? Just let us know, thanks.

Next, that ugly drug-addled POS:

"have you people noticed who the torturers are? Women! The babes! The babes are meting out the torture."
"good old American pornography"

"We do not need to be stringing people up who are trying to bring decency and freedom to other peoples in the world and make examples of them"

Inasmuchas i only do so rarely, and have as often as not apologized thereafter, i find that amusing. I find it amusing that you nurse a grudge about it. I find it typical of Mporter, who has displayed such pettiness (among a myriad of other forms of pettiness) to others at this site. But then, we've come to expect pettiness from your crowd.

Well, good, as you seem to be the chronicler here, don't forget to make a good record of the ridicule and abuse Mporter heaped on Walter for a misspelling Walter had made. When Walter pointed out that he, Walter, was posting in a foreign language and asked what Mporter would do, that joker replied that he wouldn't post--implying that Walter ought not to post here if he can't do so in faultless English.

Just your kind of guy, McG, i'm sure you'll make good friends. Be sure and recall this characteristic of Mporter when you're "simply pointing it out" next time.

My guess is that Bush is only offended by the pictures because they reminded him of his Skull and Bones initiation.

The posters to this forum are funny. . .
Hmmm. In this forum, it seems there is a strong recurrence of looking down at people and name-calling due in large part to simple diversity in opinion; an air of superiority is also implied between forum members with differing opinions. Lastly, the forum members resort to name-calling. Name-calling is a fairly primitive device which normally isn't used among the learned in society.

These are just observations I've made in passing.

I was brought here on an erroneous Google search, but having stopped in, I found more name calling and demeaning conversation than I have heard since I was in junior high school. I think I'll forego any future visits to this forum, and instead visit some of the much more intellectually challenging forums that are out there that offer true debate and don't resort to name-calling.

Just remember, a person can't learn while speaking.

Hi skitrees.geo - welcome ... and 'good-bye', it seems Crying or Very sad

Actually, out of the more than 10,000 members you are one of the few, if not the only, who has noticed such.

Mostly, people come here just for the opposite reason - this is a moderated site, you know, with strict obversation of the TOS.

But it's your decission. Sad

Then again, anyone who comes to a thread based upon Rush Limbaugh and expects to not find one of his finest traits; ie, " looking down at people and name-calling " - well, I question intent.......

In WWII the Japanese would send children out to greet the allies with grenades in their hands, pin pulled. In response to this kind of terrorist action, the GI's would simply kill everyone in the village. Same thing in Vietnam. War crime? You decide.
