I just read it's May 20th. Good day for treats of many sorts.

I know you're not much of a dessert person, so maybe something celebratory but not beastly sweet. How are you with custards?

Oh you've picked on one of the few sweet things that I do like - I'm a sucker for custard tarts! Actually, you've reminded me of just how much I do like them - mmmm ... off to do the shopping soon so just might buy a couple from the bakery as a special birthday treat.

Wow - a positive deluge of good wishes - where did they all come from!!! I'm still new enough - and dumb enough - not to know where people find all the new threads that crop up - errm .... something I never seem able to do.
