Hi and welcome to A2K. Oh, I do remember those good times in a car, but I can't tell about some of them here, lol ;-)

(Germs and bunnies. Love the punchline of the Aussie effort to get rid of 'em with disease. Start out with millions of rabbits. End up with millions of rabbits immune to myxamitosis.)

I shared a 1977 Camaro with my sister in college - light blue metallic. That was a cool car.
The first car I bought was a 1982 Chevy Chevette. Bottom of the line, cheap car. A beige box on wheels. But it was mine and that was all that mattered.

A 1931 Plymouth business coupe. "Business" because it had a larger than normal trunk and a split seat back so you could lift the passenger seatback up and reach into the trunk to get your sample case. Some friends got this circus idea. We pulled up around the corner of a downtown movie house that had a line of people and loaded 3 or 4 guys in the trunk, put 3 more in the front plus me at the wheel. I pulled up with the back end toward the line of people and we proceeded to come out the passenger door and come out and come out -- all 8 or 9 of us. Lots of fun. I bought it in 1950 for $35.00.
