Timber ain't bad - he just acts that way!

My first "car" was, in fact, a motor cycle - I forget the make - but it was one of those incredibly quick little 70's Japanese 360 ccs - dammit, HOW could I forget! It is was a classic, even in its time......Yamaha! That's it!

Then, wings clipped and all sensible like, I got my first car - if you can call it that - a 1957, rust-encrusted Hillman Minx - oy veh!

This works for me. You guys crack me up. And people ask me what on earth I do in the middle of the night. I tell them that I bet I have more fun than they do in the middle of the day ;-)

I have to say, Gezzy - that I enjoy in real life carrying on much the way I do here - they are not so different, in some ways...

All right, y'all ready for a sexy classic car?

http://home.sprintmail.com/~cathbrown/doug/uk620.jpg

1979 Datsun pick-up. Only mine was the King Cab -- which meant there was an extra 8 inches of space behind the seats to put spare parts and oil. Actually did me very good. I got it with about 160K miles and left it with about 230K. Had to leave it in California with my family because it sports a 1974 cylinder head -- which had no port to hook up to the catalytic converter, which leaves it woeful in the emissions department. Good little truck, though. I abused the hell out of it.

The one I remember most from childhood, though, is my dad's 196? Nash Rambler, which he bought as a hippie and my friends called the Green Grenade. 3-speed manual on the stem shifter. If you moved the board in the back you could watch the road go by underneath your feet.
