Does "her snide deconstrctive terminology" refer to her behavior in which she ignored the considerable content of my extensive resume and concluded that I was just a passenger; and what is worse is that she told me to try my hand at travel profession - darn it, it was exactly my profession before I asked her advice!
No. Nowhere in the text does it say that the narrator had asked Theresa's advice in regard to her traveling. "Her snide deconstructive terminology" refers to Theresa's contemptuous view of the narrator's travel expertise.

Well thanks.
There are a lot questions there unclear to me.
(1) my calling = my profession?

In this context, yes, or "vocation."
Thank you.
Second queation:
Does "citing my extensive resume as a 'passenger'" mean " she ignored the considerable content of my extensive resume and concluded that I was just a passenger"?
It was "I" who cited my own resume.
So the question makes no sense at the moment.
More confusing to me:
Why would "I" sarcastically said "it turns out was just my calling" if it is "I' "myself" citing my extensive resume as a "passenger" (not a passenger at all, "I" am a damned travel professional)?
