Vonny. Saw Jo Ann Kelly in London in 1969.
She came out on stage looking like a librarian and when she started singing she sounded like a share-cropper.
I literally got the chicken skin.
One of the great British blues singers who passed away way too soon.

Another Blues Bird was Christine Perfect(later McVie) who I saw playing with Chicken Shack at the Roundhouse in London.
She was a fabulous blues piano player.
