Adjective of temerity?

I did some research and found two adjectives: temerarious and temeritous. If I had to use one, which would I pick? And are these words commonly used?

I would use neither; they are very archaic and if you used either in conversation most people would not know what you meant. In writing likewise. Use a more modern word such as "reckless" or "audacious" instead.
