Wasn't it great to see a group of angry Americans exercize their First Amendment right of free expression, signs in hand, daring to disrupt the great Rumsfeld's appearance before the Senate today?

The fury of blind rage in Rummy the Dummy's eyes, perfectly captured by the new cameras, as he sat silently fuming. You could almost read his thoughts: "I wish these protesters could be sent to Iraq for proper punishment."

No, it wasn't "great". It was rude and in ill-advised. I hope they all burn in hell.

Was that really his thought Dee? I think he might have been thinking that it was rude of the little punks to interrupt a matter of national affairs.

The only thing these people helped to do was hurt their cause.

The only matter of 'national affair' that would've been of any consequence to me and the nation is to learn Rummy the Dummy was tendering his resignation effective immediately.

But did anyone seriously think for a minute that would happen? Nah.

Why should he tender his resignation? What did he personally do that was so bad. Wait I forgot, he is a member of "bushco" that liberals and democrats just cannot stand. Is it because they pray and accept Jesus as an important part of their lives? Or is it because they don't think that the world revolves around everyone "feeling" better?

saintsanbrian- Honey, there's nothing remotely Godly about Rummy the Dummy or your patron saint Bush, either for that matter.

Deecups
Deecups, after a lifetime of working with protesters and trying to teach them how to make their points of view effectively that will actually produce results, it seems like that bunch could have used some contrary advice.

That kind of protest only results in making the protestors feel good. It accomplishes nothing possitive.

I didn't say they were Godly, I said that they prayed and accepted Jesus Christ in their lives.

Is it really necessary all of the name calling? "Rummy the Dummy" please being childish and chittish is not becoming of a lady.

I'd really like to post a link to a similar thread on a more conservative board, but it's against the TOS.

Needless to say, the thought process there is much different than what Dee presents.

saintsanbrian- Well, Rummy the Dummy is pretty tame. Nothing obscene or laced with 4 letter words. As far as your definition of what is ladylike, I'm afraid I have absolutle no interest in molding myself into the far right's notion of what constitutes a "lady.' That dog doesn't bark, honey.

Why don't you tell everyone, saintsanbrian?

You're the one who stepped up to the plate to inform me what behavior is 'ladylike?'

Who do you think you are as a man to say such things? I would never dream on saying such a thing to a man on this forum, liberal or right-wing.

I asked what your definition of lady like was. My comment that being childish and chittish is not very becomming of a lady. There are 2 different things here. And the opposite of liberal is conservative not necessarily right winged

Dude, lay off deecups. You obviously feel threatened by opinionated women -- guess that's why you need to have a gun accompany your posts.

I like dee: she brings a fresh voice to a male dominated politics forum which is the thing you can't cope with. Ooooooooooooooooo. LOL!!!!

"Fresh? Seems like the same tired rhetoric to me." McGentrix

I was referring to Deecups posts, McGentrix -- not your oddities.

Infowarrior - My wife is a very opinionated woman. Am I threatened by her? Nope and as for passive aggressive, I choose the Beretta as my avatar because that is something I feel strongly about. I guess wolverine would be a better choice for some one living in a fantasy world.
