Is he my friend or is he trying to be more than that?

So we have a summerhouse in a village. Almost 1 and a half year ago a family made a house near us and we'be became friends. They have a son who is a year younger than me and two daughters. At first ı've never talked with their son he came to our house once or twice whole summer we swam together but we weren't close to eachother. Than ı havent seen him for 8-9 months. I dont remember but somehow we have eachothers phone numbers. Few days ago when we were in summerhouse and they were there too our neighbours' mom called me after dinner, i opened the phone and it was her son, he said that he was bored and wanted to be with me so he came to our house. Wen he came it was already dark so we swang at the garden and talked for about an hour. He dmt come to the summer house for 7-8 months and we never kept in touch at that time. While we were swinging he always started a conversation about school friends my life goals what ı have done while we didnt see eachother and so on. I asked him if he was bored e said no and when asked how come he came to their summer house he said it was necessary bec. his grandparents came and he said that he didnt come for a long time because he got bored here but when he is with me he doesn't get bored. He asked me when ı will be at that house so he will come at the same time so we will be together and said that he didn't texted or called me bec. he cahnged his phone. He said that he will get my phone number from his mother and text and call me to learn whenever ı'll be there. He wanted to stay up late at our house and asked if we could leave him to his house while we go to our normal house. While we were swinging when he learnt that ı wouldnt be there tmorrow at the summer house he changed his mind and they decided to leave to their normal house. He wants to stay at the summer house when i am there too. İs he only a friend or is it more than being a friend. I don't know if he acts like this to every girl around him. When ı asked that night if he would like to do anything (volleyball, basketball) he refused and chose to talk with me till late. He said he came to my house because their house was very crowded and that he was tired of his sisters. By the way we are both high school students. And that night he hughed me for the first time when he was leaving, ı dont know if it was a friendly hug or not, ı got shocked because it was the first hug after a year and we have never talked that much ever before, and before he made fun with my weight(ım not overweight by the way), but when we were swinging he didnt ever mention it and when ı made him remember it he said he is sorry for it. It was the first time when we were lonely when ı went down to say goodbye.
