Chelsea Clinton Is Pregnant - BFD!

I was thinking the same thing. At least there seems to be some restraint among the better major media, they have not yet reached the level of Access Hollywood. As always this does not apply to CNN.

Chelsea has done very little with her life to date (selling access to the family contacts and selling mom aint hard) , but word has it that she feels ready to run for major office.

Oh she will run.

I posted an article from the Washington Post that I received via e-mail as a "News Alert"

You posted articles from "Today's Mom," "The Daily Mail," and a political blog.

Perhaps the Washington Post sent its subscribers a "News Alert" about Jenna's pregnancy, but I doubt it.

While the news of these women's pregnancy was, I'm sure, received with great pleasure by their family members, the relevancy to the broad national view escapes me.

Are you upset that you were notified of the news via a news alert service you choose to subscribe to, or is it that you don't think it is news worthy event when daughters of our presidents announce a pregnancy?

Depends on the president and the political views of the poster.

I think a News Alert on any president's daughter being pregnant is ridiculous. It doesn't upset me, I just find it laughable, and, as it was a Clinton, further evidence of Wapo's bias. Not surprised by the latter, it's why I subscribe and have the Sunday Times delivered.

Although I'm having serious thoughts about cancelling the Sunday Times. During the last year or so it's gone from having a strong bias to being all progressive all the time. It even runs through the Book Review and Style sections. What used to be the Opinion section is now a collection of articles about the latest progressive fad topic. I usually only read the columns of Dowd, Friedman, Douthart, and Bruni. Most of the rest of the articles are crap.

What is it that depends on this?
