Rush Limbaugh. Avoided: Vietnam. Reason: anal cyst, homosexual

LOL! Oh info! That's so funny! How on earth did Limbaugh have anal cysts at that young of age? The imagination reels!

I don't think it was becasue he enjoyed letting others romp down the hershey highway. My understanding is that it was a pylenoidal cyst, or perhaps an anal fissure. That editorial comment does tend to impugn the list's reliablity.

hi hobitbob- Well, it's still a funny image. All these years of the "Large One" pontificating away every day on the radio, holier than thou, and now we learn he's a druggie and avoided serving his country in Vietnam because his 'nether region' was damaged!

Members of the armed forces who lay down their lives for the enrichment of George and his buddies, rather than the defense of America, cannot be described as smart.

As reported elsewhere and as William Broyles Jr. wrote:

"If this war is truly worth fighting, then the burdens of doing so should fall on all Americans. If you support this war, but assume that Pat Tillman and Other People's Children should fight it, then you are worse than a hypocrite. If it's not worth your family fighting it, then it's not worth it, period. The draft is the truest test of public support for the administration's handling of the war, which is perhaps why the administration is so dead set against bringing it back."

You can't really be serious. Personally I support the war and ANYONE who goes over there to fight and as I said earlier, I didn't see Clinton shoving Chelsea into a blackhawk helicopter to go over to Kosovo.

Just because the children of politicians are not members of the military, does not mean that the President (he is the commander in cheif and the head of the military) should not be allowed to send the people who signed up off to war. Regardless of how you feel about the war, calling soldiers dimwits is not only irresponsible, it is an outrage to me and probably anyone else who has served in the military.

Like it or not, when you sign on the dotted line, you know there is a chance that you could be called off to go and fight for your country. You might die. Pat Tillman, and our local boys and girls may have died in vain in your opinion, but that does not mean that they don't deserve your respect.

Tell me you wouldn't get upset if I started posting that people that do your job are dimwits..

Righties don't do political correctness well? What the heck does that mean?

Actually to some degree, you are correct. I personally think that Political Correctness is crap. If you get your feelings hurt sorry but I have the right to say or do what I want. I was just pointing out that your bias against Republicans shows clearly in your posts.

Saintsfanbrian, politicians and senior military officers place great store upon the fact that most of us below the age of twenty-four are comparative dimwits, without the knowledge and experience which might allow the more mature to recognise when their leaders are Nazis, criminals and/or gross incompetents.

When I left school, with tales of Washington and Lincoln ringing in my ears much like millions of others, I was brainwashed into believing that the President had to be the greatest man on earth. Today, many of us are far wiser.

Not that there are enough of us around to do anything about it except vote and hope for the best. Crying or Very sad

But for you personally to call men and women that are willing to risk their lives dimwits. That is abhorrent to me. These people should be honored as heroes. You don't have to agree with the reason that they are over there fighting and dying, but you should respect them for sacrificing their lives and for doing a job that too many people are unwilling to do.

If Saddam Hussein, Hitler, and Mussolini were running the shows over there today, and they were continuing the same practices they did years ago, would you be willing to sign up to defend the liberties of their citizens, or would you take the same approach of well it isn't happening here in America so we might as well let it go?

Oh - and William Huang (or whatever that guys name is) is probably one of the most famous to come out of that crap show.

Presumably your definition of heroes also applies to the Taliban, Iraqis and Nazis who gave their lives serving their leaders? Rolling Eyes

Plus any American torturers of prisoners who happen to die in Iraq?

John Webb:

What st.brian fails to acknowledge with his adoration of the US military is the fact that all branches of the service: Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines, take an oath of honor and swear to uphold it.

The fact that our military behaved like players in a chapter from the Marquis d'Sade is revolting and leaves all the military open to insults and accusations.

Instead of dissing you he should be shouting out for an investigation and prosecution of those men and women who failed to uphold their oath of honor, and by doing so, reflects badly on all Americans.

Mind you, behind closed doors at the White House, the greatest blame will fall upon the heads of those who failed in their duty to the President to do their usual job of covering-up all embarrassing acts of criminality carried out by those working for the administration. Twisted Evil

Infowarrior and John:

There is no doubt in my mind that with all of the public outrage of what happened, the people responsible will be held accountable for their actions. It has already started and will continue.

Do I think that the Taliban, Iraqi's and Nazi's are hero's? Their followers probably consider them to be. Does that mean I think they are? Nope but my opinion of them matters as much as their opinion of me.

And you talk about covering up the criminality of those working for the administration. Susan McDougal, Ron Brown, 49 people killed or died mysteriously while Bill Clinton was in office. Lets think about those huh?

"Susan McDougal, Ron Brown, 49 people killed or died mysteriously while Bill Clinton was in office. Lets think about those huh?" st.brian

Huh? Is right!

Dude, Susan McDougal is alive and well, having served her time in the Federal gulag for refusing to lie for Kennyboy Starr, and even recently wrote a book about her experiences.

Regarding Ron Brown, do you believe the gun shot hole in the skull and doctored autoposy report the radical right-wingnuts and conspiracy affionados adhere?

Please tell me you're not one of them? Laughing
