That's easy. Use them repeatedly in a real context. That's how everyone learns their language.

Point at real objects or pictures of same in a picture dictionary.

This is a [_____], that is a [___], these are [____s], those are[__s].

I'm holding a ---. I was holding some ---s. I picked up 2 ----s.

To remember words, you can just repeat them over and over again.
However, you can also use flash cards to help.
