the board meeting usually last for four days at our honolulu office. they are extremely boring and often times frustrating. it's attended by my japan and china counterparts, there's an awful lot of translating during these meetings. since i'm from maui there's really not many things that interest me on oahu. what i usually do is go out at night with some of the employees that i worked with when i was at the honolulu office. it always irks the management that i won't hang out with them.

I know what you mean. I have an invitation to my boss's birthday party and buffet for Friday. Hah! I put up with him when I'm paid to put up with him.

the president and senior vice-president and all of the u.s management side came up from the ranks. i don't know when they decided that they didn't want to associate with the other employees. i for one don't believe that i'm somehow "above" those employees just because i'm an officer of the company.

nothings really new on guam. one thing that keeps us laughing is a number of government agency directors and the governor of the previous administration have been recently indicted for theft among other things.

Huh? Ain't my bunny ... dunno for sure where dlowan found it ... think she mentioned where once, but mebbe not. I know bunnies are a frequent subject of converstion down there in Oz ... folks there look on 'em with much the same fondness we Northwoods dwellers have for mosquitos, or Southerners have for kudzu. I figure that played into her selection some ... it would be just like her.


Guess Pueo's busy again ... he hasn't been around for a couple weeks. Neat this thread popped back up, though. I think its great when one of the "Classics" gets rediscovered.

For those who care, the watermark in the upper lefthand corner is the website its from ... just type that into your address bar. Before anyone goes prowling around there though, be forewarned that along with lots of funny pics, some of the images there range from tasteless through disturbing to downright disgusting. Its not exactly "General Audience".
