Yeah, but since then I think we decided to allow the dasher to also post a bluff answer, for which they can receive points if someone chooses it.

That's #6 of Lola's original set-up to this game, tho the points question wasn't addressed. Sooooo, if the correct definition wasn't posted as one of the bluffs, what does that do to the round?

If we had no opportunity to guess the correct definition, then I'd say the round is invalid.

Folks, I want you to stop a moment and seriously think about hiring an attorney for the next round.

haha!

Hey, are we playing sting's sun dogs or no? If no, could we have another word to start a new round with?

Okay, I have a question...I think I know this one. I could be wrong - I've been known to before. Do I just pm my definition/bluff?

Yes I do...down kitty!
And that reminds me...Sting was concerned when even Felix knew the correct definition. He says this might not be a good choice of a word...considering how many smart ackers already know the true definition....any thoughts?

From the first post:

Lola wrote:
If the dasher receives an answer from a player which is similar or very close to the correct meaning, he or she should not list this player's answer. Rather, the dasher should put the answer aside, automatically award 3 points to this player, listing the player's answer only after the round is over. That round will be played as usual (with one less answer), but the player who wrote the similar answer does not take part in the voting. Note: If the dasher receives more than one answer closely resembling the correct answer, the round is canceled and the dasher chooses a new word. However, each and every player who submits an answer closely resembling the correct answer still receives 3 points.

TY Mac I read that post but didn't absorb it. Then I guess the correct thing to do is close the round and award points to those who picked out the definition...correct?

Sting has hired an attorney ...on retainer

Mac, a clarification please. Would it be prudent to keep the voting open til Midnight EST so as to give everyone a fair shot at 3 points?
