Peace and Love- we fooled each other.

If 15 is correct, why did it 'fool' six people?

If 6 people got it right....who gets the next round?

I couldn't believe it when I looked it up! A cooked eel?? Who comes up with this stuff?!?

Aw...no takers for mine! *pout*

Well...technically, it refers both to the eel and the cooking method, caprice. It's related to "spatchcock" which refers to splitting a chicken down it's spine and flattening it out to make for easy grilling. The eel is treated in a similar fashion, but the word is antiquated. We chefs need to know these things.

ewwww.... I don't think I could eat an eel.... don't they have electricity running in their veins????.... LOL....

seriously, what does an eel taste like... and DON'T say "chicken".... LOL...

Equus.... yes, we gave each other a point... how cool is that!!.... you come up with some good definitions...

Caprice... I almost chose yours!!... my first thoughts, for coming up with a bluff, was something like that, but I was putting it in a car engine, rather than a wine cask.... LOL...

Diane, yes, I'm celebrating my 4 points... WooHoo!!... but, I got ~zero~ points the last few times, so..... I'm still just breaking even.... LOL...

Woo-hoo! I got a point! But my conscince dictates that it would be unfair for me to claim the second point as this is the second time I've played & the first one I got right! (dang it!)

Diane: A well-run round. Thanks. I learned more than I'll probably ever need to know about eels and lapsed Presbyterian nuns!
Devriesj: Your conscience should be clear. You and a bunch of others guessed the right answer so you earned your two points. The game ends when someone gets to 13. That will probably happen with this round. Then we'll start over with everyone at -0-.
Thanks, Equus. It's frustrating being the Dasher only to discover that a lot of players end up knowing the answer! -rjb-

rjb Presbyterian nuns is this something new, your talking about the Kirk lad. I do believe that the present Moderator of the Church of Scotland is a woman.
