Oh good, I got back from Virginia in time to guess. Yikes, these are all so good!!

Diane guesses #10
Felix Noir guesses #11

As usual, Felix is the only one who is certain of the answer.

Firstthoght, I hope your eye continues to heal quickly and that you experience much better vision.

10. A reference work with illustrations accompanying each entry Bluff (Equus) votes Diane,

11. The definitive reference for superior intellect of felines and canines Bluff. (Taffy le Blanc) votes Felix Noir,

12. An original thought book. (Correct definition-dasher)

cavfancier(gets 3 points) gave this entry, which is the function of the ref book.
'Hmm....a backwards dictionary for when you know what something is, but can't remember what it's called.'

Number 12 is the definition given by the Author of the Reference Book "Descriptionary" by Marc McCutcheon (Aug 2000)

It is a reverse dictionary of a sort : Its when you can remember the meaning but cannot remember the 'Word'. One therefore looks up meanings in this book.

Diane Your bluff luck out this time you get 4 points.

ft.

That's true, safecracker. If you send a bluff instead of sending me what you believe to be the correct definition (which you have done already), you have the potential to win more points. (You'll get two points for knowing the definition and one point for each person you fool with your bluff.) Since you've announced that you know the correct definition, I think you should wait until everyone else has voted to tell your vote (or there won't be much of a spread, will there?) Let me know if any of that doesn't make sense, or if you want to change your mind and go for the sure three points.

So with 26 points, hasn't hiama officially won that game? If I remember correctly, we should restart the scoring on this next round...right?
