Splendid round all! But... Curious child that I am I googled for the def. just to see & came up with this:

Fecket - "an under-waistcoat with sleeves"
Got it here:

http://www.tartans.com/modules.php.srl.op+modload,name+EZCMS,file+index,menu+1,page_id+53.html

Would anyone consider that a dispute or should I just fecket?!

Oh EhBeth, I'm so sorry. I must have got others wrong too. In the OED, it is specifically eelskin, and someone was killed even though he was protected by it - after several bullets.
There were some great bluffs.

If anyone else can pinpoint where I've gone wrong with the list, please tell me, as I have the list wrong.

This is true. I happen to be a fan of Rabbie Bairns, and devriesj's defintion complies with the fine Scotch poet's works.

I have a very obscure one; but I won't be online much tonight, so that would just make things slower, I guess.
