Tom DeLay: People keep forgetting that God ‘wrote the Constitution’

(Raw Story) During an appearance on John Hagee Ministries’ Global Evangelism Television (GETV) network on Wednesday, host Matt Hagee asked the Texas Republican where the country had gone wrong.

“I think we got off the track when we allowed our government to become a secular government,” DeLay explained. “When we stopped realizing that God created this nation, that he wrote the Constitution, that it’s based on biblical principles.”

That Tom DeLay has any audience at all is beyond me. But I agree with you, he may well be illiterate and even if not, he never read the Constitution.

When he wrote the Treaty Of Rome he used a Staedtler Stick 430, I expect. Now that is a premium ballpoint.

What's more egregious, I think, is that the public doesn't seem to realize that God also wrote Fifty Shades of Grey. E.L. James is a pen name.
