is this the correct form to use - "swinging"

As in there is more than one correct use. I might have written, "Truth swings between right and wrong." Or, "Truth is suspended between right and wrong."

It depends on the meaning that you intend. The present continuous, "is swinging," means about "this specific issue" and someone is changing their minds or the story, etc. The present tense, "swings," implies a generalization that is usually, routinely, or always true.

It sounds a bit awkward in English.
Whatever it means, I 'd find a better, clearer way to say it.
