And in point B, I was talking about the OP's sentence, which is what we were talking about when we were discussing whether or not something was natural or not. Not the use of "uni". I would have thought the context should have been obvious to you. Clearly I overestimated you. Sorry. I'll try not to make that mistake again.

Yes I realize this is ESL.

There were 2 questions asked by the op. My answer is the same that no it is not natural to ask the question as written and no we don't call them hall places in the United States.
