Hello there. I'm currently writing report cards for my students and the head of my academic department and I have not seen eye to eye on a few of my 'sentence choices'. Could somebody please shed some light on these sentences and tell me if there is anything wrong with them. Thanks, Will

"What further impressed me was his ability to increase his speaking grade of 90% to 100%, and his listening from 90% to 95%. "

@holty88,
Seems okay Holty though might havde said "grade from 90%"

Context might figure in as some of us might be curious as how such grades are awarded, esp listening

@holty88,
Figure out what his standard for reports are and use it. Or change departments or schools or professions. Obviously he either takes reports seriously or he has it in for you.
