excue me? Banning low-slung pants in public because "I'm tired of seeing it"....? What a waste of legislative time and tax-payer money. And I thought Louisiana was a poor state.
Quote:"I'm sick of seeing it," said Shepherd, a first-term legislator. "The community's outraged. And if parents can't do their job, if parents can't regulate what their children wear, then there should be a law."

I agree with Shepherd. Why don't the parents teach their kids about proper dress and conduct?
Miller - how would a parent do that?
By telling them that's not the way you dressed.
"But Dad, all the kids dress this way!"
"And if all the kids jumped off a bridge, would you do that too?"
The classic parental answer.
Personally, I think it's going a bit overboard. But I'm really tired of seeing that. I mean, if I wanted to see it, I'd hire a plumber.
Jeepers, everybody I've ever met who went to New Orleans has told me...people are having sex all over the place. They're worried about low slung pants? What about Plumbers butt???
