Can I use these verbs? Are there better ones?

-Originally the School of German Medicine belonged to the Faculty of Science, but later it was transferred/switched/regrouped under the Faculty of Medicine.

@WBYeats,
The choice of words obviously is determined by the intended meaning.

Melded with/joined with/brought under the control of/merged with/ ...

@JTT,
Do you mean we can say?:

-It was regrouped the Faculty of Medicine.

Or did you type the wrong thing?

@WBYeats,
No, WB, I am saying that under doesn't fit for all situations. The preposition could differ.

@WBYeats,
Is this better?

Originally, German Medicine school had belonged to the Faculty of Science, but it was reorganized to the Faculty of Medicine.

@RedLily,
Not 'to', RL. under would work.

Or

Reorganized to (verb)

reorganized to fit into the Faculty of ...

Or

Reorganized and moved to the Faculty of ...

@JTT,
Hi JTT

So the sentence should be like this?

Originally, German Medicine school had belonged to the Faculty of Science, but it was reorganized and moved to the Faculty of Medicine.

or

Originally, German Medicine school had belonged to the Faculty of Science, but it was reorganized under the Faculty of Medicine.

@RedLily,
Both are possible, RL, depending of course on what the actual fact situation is/was.

German Medicine School doesn't sound natural.

The German Medical School
The School of German Medicine
...
