How do you ever get used to seeing the other woman who lives 2 mins from your home after the affair has finished, why does she seem to fill my thoughts and have this power over me still 7 months on, please help

Because you're letting her.
I recommend counseling. Seriously. Develop some coping skills for this. Find other things to do (and maybe try to avoid places where you'd be likely to run into her - not easy but probably not impossible, either). Consider whether it makes sense to move.
