Man, you keep talking about the destruction of those heathen Native Americans as though it were a good thing. There's actually quite a bit those Christian pioneers would've learned from them. Like, I don't know, maybe how to take care of this ******* planet? Native Americans and other older aborigine cultures promoted care for the planet. To return to it what was taken from it. To treat the land itself as holy and sacrosanct, connected to everyone and everything.

And a lot of our holidays have parts taken from pagan holidays. They're just given a Christian spin, or still remain pagan in nature. Think of Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, etc.

Counting the years backwards according to the Bible gives these results, starting with the creation of Adam in 4026 B.C.E.
Exodus 1513 B.C.E.
Jericho conquered 1473 B.C.E.
So the Pentateuch and the Book of Job were all completed by 1473

Some heathen redskin tribes used to banish their elderly from the tribe if they had no relatives to look after them. Here below a banished old woman dies in the snow in 'A Man Called Horse' (top pic)
But when another old woman faces the same fate later on, Christian English gentleman Richard Harris steps up to the plate and rescues her (bottom pic), telling her "I'll look after you, I'll be your son"..

This unholy bunch in Dances with Wolves are deciding whether to kill Costner.
Admittedly he deserved it because of his bad acting, but with injuns roaming around nobody else would have been able to go for a bike ride or anything, so the heathens had to have their asses busted-
