Yes, I am in a search for a fusion Chinese-American-Jamaican dish to honour gus, named as in the title of this thread. Any ideas or images will be appreciated.

Use sweet and sour sauce with hot pepper on a bbq'd 24 oz Angus steak, then call it "fusion Chinese-Jamaican-American steak."

Next thing I knew, RP was calling up and asking what was for dinner.

Back in grade school, we once had a substitute science teacher who would talk about her great husband, the marine biologist, and how great it was that he worked with squid, because there was always good fresh squid around to cook at home. All I could think of was "Aww, mom, squid AGAIN?" Laughing

What about a jerked sea-cucumber burger topped with fried capybara strips, and maybe an eyeball from those yummy looking skewers?
