In the song Dixie, it goes
"Old times there are not forgotten", but how can that be grammatically correct, given forgotten isn't an adjective, is it?

Thanks

@Joebillington,
Songs, poetry, and headlines follow their own rules, or no rules at all.

@Joebillington,
I have seen it: Old times, they are not forgotten.

Are is a linking verb. They/are/forgotten
